My name is John G., and a transplant from New York City to Ft. Lauderdale, FL and have lived here for the past 10 years. Mostly whenever I searched for a residence to call home, I did it on my own from classified sections, word of mouth and always ran into many problems. These problems arose either right away, or down the road, sometimes costing me hard earned money. In April of 2008 I was ready for another move after living in Victoria Park for 7 years. I was happy where I was, but it was time to move on to an upgrade. I didn't want to go through this on my own from past experiences, so I reached to out to a real estate agent and very dear friend/client of my own, Jassamine B. Redington. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted someone that I was doing business with already to take on the task of something so very personal as finding me a home, but I went for it anyway. What a great turnout it was. I told Jassamine EXACTLY what I was looking for in a new place to call home. Where I wanted to be, and that it should be gated. I told her what I wanted to pay and anything else I could think of, again from past lessons learned. Jassamine narrowed it down to just three places for me to look at. At first I thought, "just three?” how much time did she put into this?" When I met with Jassamine, who was prompt, respecting my valuable time, she showed me the three choices and I was amazed at how right on she was! All three had exactly what I had requested! Truth be told, the first one she took me to see was the one that I wound up taking. She listened to what my needs were, and my personal concerns and presto, she produced. When I thought her job was over, it was not. Jassamine took it personal with me, her client. She made sure that all I had to do was move in! All the negotiating, all the paper work and phone time she did was for me! The other real estate agent that we were dealing with for the property I selected was a stark contrast to Jassamine. He didn't return phone calls in a timely manner and was slow to produce the paper work we needed to close this deal. Jassamine didn't let the ball drop, she told me not to worry and I didn't. She got the job done!! When all was said and done, I have recommended Jassamine to other clients of mine because I feel secure in the fact that with my name attatched to her professionalism and integrity, I can feel assured she will protect that. Jassamine went above and beyond the call of duty as our Realtor.
